Atomic GS12 Skis

Atomic GS12 is another ski in the giant slalom category. The ski is designed with competitions in mind and hence requires some level of expertise in its handling. It is a well balanced ski with great grip and pretty solid stability even at high speeds. Down the slope it gives a smooth and pleasurable gliding performance. Skiers will find it easy to handle the changes in turn radius.


With the category being giant slalom, the Atomic GS12 ski is 175 cm in length. The tip is 111 mm, waist is 66 mm and the tail is 94 mm wide. This ski is enhanced by Powerbridge technology to make it more responsive in most extreme conditions.


These racing skis offer great opportunity to medium level skiers to enhance their racing skills, while expert users will find it thrilling. It sure does pack a punch of both, pace and performance.


Though performance is average for short radius turns but medium to long radius turn performance is a pleasure. It is excellent to maneuver and control and great in initiation. The cutting grip is solid even at high speed.


From the stability point of view it is excellent with a great edge hold. Carving is another point where this ski scores top points. The Atomic GS12 is easy to handle and its excellent skid control makes sure that you stay on top at high speeds. It is comfortable to ride and the contact with snow is excellent. The performance in powder lacks a bit but then it is designed for racing and you can enjoy all the thrills down the slopes.

ROSSIGNOL RADICAL

Rossignol Radical Mutix R11 Skis

The Mutix technology used by Rossignol to make the Radical Mutix R11 skis allows the skier to go in for short radius and long radius turns by simply changing the arms. This is one ideal pair of skis for both short and long turns. These skis are in the slalom category and are also available in giant slalom category.


The Radical skis are easy to handle and gives a pleasant experience while skiing. Though, it is not designed for competitions but the ski is versatile enough to deliver a power packed performance. Medium to expert skiers will find the Rossignol Radical Mutix R11 ski just good enough to give a pleasurable ski run on the snowy slopes of the ski resorts.


The ski is available in various sizes with 175 cm being used for the giant slalom category. The tip is 118 mm, the waist is 70 mm, and the tail is 102 mm wide. It is quite stable on different runs and the performance is great in powder.


The skis have good contact with the snow and their performance in long-radius turns is better than the short-radius turns. The initiation and carving is excellent with a good edge hold and grip. It is easy to maneuver with the skiers finding its skid control above average, which can vary from one skier to another depending on the level of expertise.
