KASTLE MX 88 skis

Kastle MX 88

Having been in the market since the 90s, Kastle has brought out another inventive artillery from their ingenious minds and created the Kastle MX 88. With that type of reputation that has been going on for about a decade, the Kastle MX 88 did not fail to win back the trust needed in such a sport where danger lurks at every turn.

Power and stability comes at play with this 88mm waist ski. The MX 88 tries to win back lost fanatics of the ski and it indeed lives up to the promise. The ski has a moderate sidecut that enables skiers to glide off to any mountain setting or terrain with much ease than any other ski in the market.

But, having that amazing details out meant some downsides to it. The Kastle MX 88 is an expensive one. Skiers might find it hard to pick up for its price. Surely, once you’ve overcome that part, it is going to be a heck of a ride. In a market where affordability must be paired with ingenuity and quality, the Kastle MX 88 needs to pull up some strings together and make it more available for skiers both new and old.

But enough with the rant, overall the Kastle MX 88 delivers and it delivers well bringing the tides of war closer to Kastle’s side – victory.

NORDICA OLYMPIA VICTORY REVIEW

Nordica Olympia Victory Review

The Olympic Victory is the newest edition, in the family of Nordica ski equipments. This model is similar to its sister version, the Olympia Speed, but is wider than that version. The good thing about this ski board is it does have a wide frame, but it takes a bit more effort to ride – particularly on very icy snow.

For east-to-west skiers, this board is a very good choice. For eastern skiers, though, that want quicker turns and shorter rides that board will give you, the Speed will be better for you.

I would recommend this board to pro skiers, who will enjoy the easy cuts and turns through moderate snow, but not for novice skiers – as it will be harder to control the speed and turns of the skis. Women skiers will enjoy using these ski as well (they come in ladies’ sizes as well.)

The dimensions of the Olympia Victory skis are (size/radius): 146/12, 154/12.6, 162/14.2, 170/15.8, and 178/17.6. The sidecut is 116-74-104. According to the ski’s manufacturer, this are great skis to have, for the ultimate ski boarding experience.

PRO-TEC B2 Snow Helmet

PRO-TEC B2 Snow Helmet with Plantronics Audio Force Ear Pads

I have recently bought a new ski helmet PRO-TEC B2 and am so amazed with its qualities. Its multi-impact technology helps me to ride faster and help me to protect my head. I can also hear music while skiing as its Plantronics Audio force helps my audio player to stick with the helmet.

The sound quality of the music pads is excellent and it does not allow the wind to enter into the music pads. There is also a cord plug connected to the music player and lock the system with the twist locking feature to plug the ear pads tide while skiing. Now, whenever I go for skiing I can easily enjoy the music.

This audio player is multi functional with features, volume roller and one touch mute button through the glove friendly control systems. The density of this model is very high and it is both absorption to the shock and impact through its -molded ABS shell. The best part of this ski helmet is that when you do not want to hear the music then you can remove the ear pads. The liner of this helmet is removable and I can even wash them at my place.

It is also equipped with the surface activated polypropylene which provides the multi impact protection. I can also ski during a bad weather as its screened vents never allow the wind to stop and my head do not get heat. This helmet is very secure to wear as it is made with a very strong metal.

It is comfortable to wear as the chin buckles are adjustable and straps are easily arranged with the buckle. I can also adjust the strap with the gloved hands. This is most comfortable and adjustable ski helmet I have ever used in my life and would also try to use the ski of the same brand.
