Copper Mountain Ski Resort is located at 209 Ten Mile Circle in Copper Mountain, which is 75 miles towards the west of Denver. It has 125 ski trails and 22 lifts. Like all other ski resorts that cater to user of every level, it is also divided in to three levels: beginner, intermediate and expert.

The beginner area is well marked and the kids can have all the fun there without fearing of going into difficult areas. Not only kids but also adults who are just starting out will find their lessons services on skiing good enough to get a foot hold into skiing.

The lifts are convenient to use and all the runs meet in the same areas. The terrain is good and you can get to relish some scenic views here. The staff is friendly and they have a great day care facility that you can use if you have small kids.

There is 2,450 acres of area marked for skiing and snowboarding. This gives ample space if you want to get away from the crowd on your own. It's complete getaway for the family offering shopping, dining, convenient lodging, and family activities in addition to its main attraction of skiing.


However, Cooper mountain resort does not have much difficult backs to offer, but at times like after big storms, you can get big bumps on the trails. They could really be difficult to ski on if they have not been groomed yet. There are no extreme terrains but some are steep. Copper is easy to access and you have to send more than a day or two to actually get to know the mountain.
